We're venturing into a new future
Wow! 2023 is already here. I just wanted to review the year of 2022 for Cool Games and preview the upcoming year ahead!
2022
The start of last year was slow. We didn't do much in the beginning, but couldn't help noticing that there was an increase in member count.
This was part of what inspired us to keep updating and making the site better. Just a few months later, we announced the beginning of Cool Games: Revamp.
Of the five things we listed at the time, we've already completed 2 (soon to be 3-- come back tomorrow 😉) in the upcoming days.
Aside from that, we also finally did something that's been on our minds for a good year now: making a Discord server. We thought about it, considered it, put it aside for a while, but then it became a reality.
On November 15, 2022, we announced the release of our Cool Games Discord server, which you can join now at https://discord.gg/hp5u9TuTPC! It includes many fun bots, chat areas, and more.
We made a couple updates after that, while growing and updating our Discord community too.

2023
So, what's next?
This year, we're just as excited.
We're hoping to get our Discord server to at least 100 members by the end of the year. We're updating a lot of the games, getting them from a different provider that has a lot higher chance of being unblocked.
Another thing we've been thinking of, and likely will do soon, is adding a Discord widget in the community section. Last time when we tried, it was a bit buggy. Hopefully this time there won't be any problems.
Throughout the year, we'll be adding cool pages, cool games, and cool features to our website.
